🦅 The King and His Eagle

King Sultan had a loyal eagle named Garuda.

They had crossed deserts, jungles, and mountains together.

They were the best of friends.

One day, the king journeyed alone through a harsh land.

He grew tired, hungry, and very, very thirsty.

At last, he found a beautiful waterfall.

He rushed to fill his bowl to drink.

But SWOOSH!

Garuda flew down and knocked the bowl from his hands.

The king tried again.

Again, Garuda stopped him.

Angry and weak, the king shouted,

“Why are you doing this?!”

At last, in a burst of rage, he struck Garuda with his sword.

The eagle fell, silent and still.

Tears filled the king’s eyes.

“I’m sorry, my friend…”

He left the water behind and climbed the mountain, heart heavy.

At the top, he saw something terrible—

A dead, venomous snake at the stream’s source.

The water was poisoned.

Garuda had been trying to save him.

The king cried, holding his empty bowl,

realizing he had lost the friend who gave everything for him.

Moral:

A friend may stop you, annoy you, or seem harsh…

But they might just be protecting you from harm.

True friendship always thinks of your good—even when you don’t understand it.

🦅 सुलतान और उसका गरुड़

सुलतान का एक वफ़ादार साथी था — एक विशाल गरुड़, जिसका नाम था गरुड़।

वे साथ में रेगिस्तान, जंगल और पहाड़ पार कर चुके थे।

वे सच्चे दोस्त थे।

एक दिन सुलतान अकेले एक कठिन यात्रा पर निकला।

वो थक गया, भूखा था, और बहुत प्यासा भी।

अचानक उसे एक सुंदर झरना दिखा।

वो दौड़कर पहुँचा और अपने प्याले में पानी भरने लगा।

लेकिन फड़फड़ाहट!

गरुड़ उड़कर आया और प्याले को गिरा दिया।

सुलतान ने फिर कोशिश की।

फिर से गरुड़ ने रोका।

गुस्से और थकावट में सुलतान चिल्लाया,

"तू ऐसा क्यों कर रहा है?!"

आख़िरकार, क्रोध में आकर सुलतान ने अपनी तलवार निकाली,

और गरुड़ पर वार कर दिया।

गरुड़ ज़मीन पर गिर पड़ा।

एकदम शांत।

सुलतान की आँखों में आँसू आ गए।

“मुझे माफ़ कर दो, मेरे दोस्त…”

वह पानी छोड़कर चुपचाप पहाड़ी चढ़ा।

ऊपर जाकर उसने देखा —

झरने की शुरुआत में एक मरा हुआ ज़हरीला साँप पड़ा था।

झरने का पानी ज़हर से भरा था।

गरुड़ तो सुलतान को बचाने की कोशिश कर रहा था।

सुलतान रो पड़ा।

उसने अपना प्याला पकड़ा और अपने सच्चे मित्र को याद किया —

जिसने अपनी जान देकर उसे बचा लिया।

सीख :

एक सच्चा दोस्त कभी-कभी आपको रोक सकता है, ग़ुस्सा दिला सकता है…

लेकिन वो हमेशा आपकी भलाई ही सोचता है।

सच्ची दोस्ती वही है जो बिना स्वार्थ के आपका साथ निभाए।
